Or, if you backed up the DVD's as an ISO for easy resortation, you could just mount them with Alcohol's virtual drive and play them with software.

Alcohol and Daemon Tools will take an .iso file and make it look like the following:
You have an extra CD drive on your computer. It's not really there, it's virtual.
In that drive is a CD with that iso burned on it. Obviously, you don't need a cd as the data is coming straight out of the iso on your hard drive.

In other words: Removed code is debugged code, and it certainly doesn't use any memory or CPU time; so even better if you don't write it.

So it's a virtual drive with the iso on it. So let's say that I have 10 iso's on my HD, would I need to make 10 virtual drives?

No not 10 virtual drives you just need to mount 1 ISO at a time. EG once one ISO is mounted you unmount it and mount another ISO you wish to use.

Nope, one copy of the software creates the virtual drive, and then you just use it to choose what ISO gets mounted on thr virtual drive. You could create more if you wanted to, but it's not neccesary. Heres the link:
http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/

120% is a better program in my opinion, but to try it out you can use 52% to play with the virtual drives, you just can't burn anything to a normal disk.
