Default Little help Needed ???

Hi, Im in need of some help at least to get me on the track, its a tough one, but I thought i'd try my luck here,

Ok , a little while ago (about 3 weeks ago) I logged on to my account, and got an error message saying about could not load local profile , I checked on google about this and found its caused by a corrupt .dat file related to my user account.

So I have created a new UA, transfered mp3 files and that from the old one then deleted the user account, the tough part is recovering files which was on the desktop of the account deleted,

I need these files, They were image files in a folder, which I copied also an added them to RAR Archive for safe keeping, Idiot me forgot to back them up.

Any help please, sorry for the lengthy post guys!!!

Ok well when you deleted the user account did you select the option to delete all files associated to that account? If you have lets say then from my knowledge i dont think you will be getting them back...if you didnt select that option however go to ''My computer'' and then you will see folders belonging to accounts on that PC it may be under my computer or under shared documents either way your files will be under one of those folders.

After I copied them to my new account I proceeded and deleted both account and files, but the files where in documentandsettings\username\desktop surely they should be in my new account but i cant see them.

is there any software that can recover this, its a tricky one though

Well did you put the files in the documents folder under your new account?? if you have they should be there. The only software that could really have saved the files would be Norton Goback but this has to be installed prior to your problem.

If you truley did place these files under ''my documents'' or another folder in that folder then they should be there regardless of the account removal. Remember just to check all the folders under my computer as they should be there unless placed elsewhere.
