I found this but I am not sure

I want to record from my xbox360 to my pc so I can capture what I do on the xbox360 for example if something odd happens in the game and it looks cool

I wouldn't recommend that one, you're only going to get 480p resolution, so its going to look like an Xbox game.

But you might as well because capturing raw 720p video is a lot of work! I think the cheapest HD capture card you can get is http://www.blackmagic-design.com/products/intensity/

You might be able to find something cheaper, just look for something with component in, VGA, or HDMI that allows for at least a resolution of 1280x720.

If you're putting the videos on YouTube, you don't really need 720p. If you need 720p because you're watching them on your own PC, then be prepared to spend some real money.

I think that this will probably do what you need it to do, and it's a tad bit cheaper too.

I would make sure you try to find somebody who actually uses whatever you are wanting to buy for this purpose.

If you aren't careful you will get one that will give you horrendous video lag, I have seen it up to 4 seconds.
