Default Dead Xbox What A Shock :0

alright i got this POS for x-mas 2 years ago, served me well until a couple weeks ago,

i have this on it but it's red http://www.consoleshop.com/product.p...cat=260&page=3

so the warrenty is voided, so im thinking what can i do with this, i have a good 4 feet of red CCFL lights (RED) 2 fans from a 360 (how big are they like 45mm? not to big but still useful!) a drive, amd some other stuff i thinking put some CCFL on the intake port in the front of my BTX case don't you? maybe some extra fans on the inside? anything to do with it comeon guys i have a giant hunk of nothing next to me i hve every tool you can bring up that is needed except my soldering iron broke (go figure it broke when my friends 360 hit it!) so i'm going to have to borrow one from my freind if needed! any suggestions are open

NOT SO FAST.

best idea is to grab the xecuter rind light fix. If that doesn't work, THEN do the towel trick. It's your best bet.

did i say it was RROD? no the scaler chip for the component video broke, i tryed VGA it was broken tryed S-video still broken, no HDMI port or HDMI T.V in this house to. SO i am not looking to revive it because it is surely dead, will not even boot up it will go on then off and when i do get it to stay on (holding the button in) it boots up to a E 74 error message AKA: scaler or video cable failure, went out bought a 30 DOLLAR NORMAL CABLE! YES 30$ FOR A FRIKKEN CABLE!!!! pluged it in booted up but it had green lines and fuzzy dark green lines all over it pretty much unplayable to anyone who can't tune out green in there vison, if you can well then there goes most of the games for 360's colors! so it's time to take this POS down...i'm going to gut it then bury it 0_0 what? to extreme?

Take the components out and put one of those ITX Atom chipsets in it with an 8600GT PCI and use it as a media center.
