Just found an old xbox online card that I never used, back from the original xbox. Was wondering if this would carry over to the 360. I haven't had the time to plug my 360 in to the internet yet (My current console just crashed, going to get console #5 soon) so I haven't been able to try.

if by card you mean wireless network adapter, then yes it works perfectly with 360's. just doesn't look as good.

Old ones work with the 360 but new ones wont work with the original.

Awesome, it was a 12 month card that I really never got around to trying. Do you still have to run a cable to the xbox for connectivity, or is there some way to do it wirelessly now?

You can buy 360 wireless adapter which is $99 or you can set up any kind of wireless bridge. The only downside is it wont look as nice as the licensed one.
