So is it the red ring of death?

I thought the ring of death was 3 red lights, not 2. Just unplug it for a while and try again.

If your not worried about possibly voiding the warranty, open her up and take a can of compressed air to her. This fixes about 80% of these kinds of problems.

If these lights are anything like status indicator lights?.. I have a Wii that has a standby light that comes on for the Internet Connection WAN. Could that be what you refer to?

Make sure your AV cables are properly plugged in.

Ive seen someones xbox get the 2 red lights from over heating; but not to the extent of the 3 red lights.. Maybe he was playing for a very long time.
Just leave the 360 alone for a bit and try it again after a few hours.

it means "overheating" that light configuration.....if it starts up for only a certain amount of time your GPU is overheating....if it always pops up no matter what the temperature than one of your solder joints has melted (crappy soldering in 360) you can either send it in for free if your warranty is still good or you can try and fix it yourself by replacing the Thermal Compound with Arctic Silver on your CPU/GPU.........if your warranty is expired and you don't want to take the risk of fixing it pay 130$ for a new one from the warranty place..........and if you don't want to do any of this save up for a PS3.
