I've got this long history of buying used 360s from a store and them crapping out on me within a month, I'm currently the proud owner of my 4th defective system, and they have finally decided to give me a new system instead of another used one. I told them all I want to do is keep my hard drive, so the manager said he would give me an xbox arcade and I could just put the hard drive I have in.

What I'm asking here, is if there is any difference between the arcade and a regular 360 pro aside from the hard drive?

The hardware that's included is the only thing that's different. If you're implying the internal hardware no, the 3ilt3 is the only one that has changed internally.

thats a pretty decent deal, depending on what you initially paid for your 360, if you can keep your hdd an xbox 360 arcade is probably equal once you plug the drive in, just might not come with a wireless controller... Im not sure on that though...

elite has hdmi port.......but pretty much all the new arcade versions come with hdmi now.....and oh yea it's black

I would be tempted to paint mine, but knowing xbox, it may very well crap out on me again and I would need to warranty, which would be void due to the paint

I initially paid $230 for the used 360 way back in april. Not really a deal TBH, but upgrading to a new system for free is better than getting another used one.
