Default Halo 3 X360?

Well my birthday (thought a bit away, is coming in Dec.) and i'm trying to make up my mind, and to get a Halo 3 360 from walmart with the bundle for 455 in total with tax, should I do it? I'd have to continue saving now and pay at least 250 bucks from my pocket for it.

(Please no "why don't you get a PS3 responses, or especially Wii)

I have the xbox 360 halo edition. I love how it looks. However i got mine for 270, and unless you really like halo 3, the gamer pics and themes that come with it arent worth paying extra. The skin is, but then again it is a lot of money :S.

Better off getting an Xbox 360 Elite and a pre-owned copy of Halo 3...TBH, Halo isn't that great of a game. Alot more dissapointing than Halo 2...Halo rocked...

Honestly, I don't even want halo, I just want a bundle. It comes with the year of live and the game, that's why it's 419 and 455 with tax. I like the look of it, and I didn't ask for it to be put down, I just asked if this bundle (which I should have probably said first) would be good to start off with

-Halo 3 Special Edition Xbox 360
-Charge and Play Kit
-Year of Xbox Live
-Halo 3

That seems like a good deal to me, since the elite would come to like 430 bucks with tax and 2 kinda old games with no year of live.

And think about it. I'm pretty sure with all the great knowlege at OCN, I'm sure we all know that you don't even NEED to store media ON the HDD, but you can get it remoted from the PC. Right? Yeah. So the size doesn't matter, I just like the look of it, it's pretty nice to me.

Do it for sure. Halo 3 multiplayer via Live is honestly one of the most entertaining things in the world IMO. Call of Duty 4 is also fun if you don't already have it for PC.

Yeah, I have CoD4 on PC, owns

Thanks! Cause I know this would be way more than 455 bucks...

60GB X360- 300
Year of live- 50 bucks
Charge and Play- 25 bucks
Halo 3- 60 bucks

That would total 435 as base without tax and i'm pretty sure would rocket to 460-470 with tax. Where as the Halo 3 edition bundle is 419 based and is 455 with tax
