Hi everyone, does anybody know if i can hook up my 360 to my monitor? The model is a compaq wf1907, it has 1 dvi port and 1 vga port. My 360 has an hdmi port, so will a dvi to hdmi cable work? and also will the sound and everything be perfect with the cable? no configurations needed?

BestBuy has a DVI - HDMI converter but it was crazy expesniive, like 60+ bucks.
Newegg has a bunch, so have your pick. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...nd&Order=PRICE Note: I bought it from Bestbuy because I was desperate, but I returned the next day.

HDMI cannot be converted to DVI with the audio. Without it, no problem.
www.monoprice.com for converters.

That's DVI > HDMI, he's talking about HDMI > DVI, which is impossible. DVI can't carry an audio signal.
Doesn't matter anyway. He's using a 360, which doesn't have the DVI outputs that the ATI cards have (that can carry HDMI). ~Gooda~

This is what you really need.
__________________The above solutions don't include audio, and might require some kind of male/female converter as well. The end result will be a nasty mess of wires. This comes with everything you need, including an rca audio - 3.5mm jack. Although if you don't have a secondary input on your sound system like the Logitech X-240s have then you will also need a female-female 3.5mm dongle as well. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16874103025 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16812196020
