My elite i bought last Christmas died last night with the 3 red rings, I said screw Microsoft tech support, listen to this story.

A friend of mine spilled pop on my controller I let it dry out, it works but kills rechargeable batterys All the time now, So i called them And i said i need a new controller only Not only is it a BLACK elite controller, They sent me a WHITE battery pack and no controller Not even what i wanted or the color MORONS...

So last night i towl tricked my POS 360 for 2 hours and its running right now perfectly no lag, no screen flickers Nothing, I have no clue why it died i baby it like crazy i dust it every week, i Put in a aftermarket cooling solution, And I keep it on a foam padded Table for vibration.

So Why did it die??? but its fixed now, I was so pissed I put another hole in my door of holes. I'm gonna Bondo fix the door and paint it.

Its what 360's do, they just die. Its a defect in the design.

RRoD is normally cause by solder points becoming liquid again that hold the chip to the board. when the contact is broken so is the x-box. can be done with the towel trick or you can open it and get some aftermarket x-clamps and solder them on with a solder that has a higher melting point then micro****'s. my scaler chip broke. out or warranty to

i have 2 years left for warranty after this month i'll send it in for repairs, But for now i need it for the Up north trip i'll be very bored so it's good that i got it fixed.

I hope you know that the aftermarket cooling for any of the Xbox 360's messes up your 360. Thats what a guy told me from futureshop. I think there is a way to fixed it though somehow with the ring of death.

My 360 elite that I also bought when they came out died last week.

I got a new one for free since i'm a little con artist... lying to walmart ftw...
