Default Buy a broken xbox off of ebay

found an RROD xbox 360 on ebay for $40 just going to get that and fix it.

think its a good idea, they seem pretty easy to fix

well the seller says it has RROD so i was thinking of doing the xclamp fix.

no it doesnt gome with the cables

You're doing it wrong. I did this a few times. As long as the warranty isn't void, buy it, send it into Microsoft, they send you a new, working one.
Way easier. If you're going to mod it, at least you know that it worked, and it wasn't another problem that caused the RRoD.
What I did when I bought a RRoD system off of eBay, and got it sent back by Microsoft, is sold it back on eBay for a $200 profit.
