I read somewhere about a cable that supposedly had connections for VGA, component, svideo, composite, and audio all coming out of one connection. I know that the AV connector has the pins spots for all those connections, but won't the Xbox get confused with that many outputs. How would one go about making a multi output connector? I have an extra cable lying around that I'd be willing to cut up if I need to. I don't really need 5 outputs, just VGA and component, and I still need the ability to use Optical Audio and stero audio. Would this be possible to wire up? I have a pinout of a connector that was wired up to output to a VGA monitor. I currently have a VGA cable, a Component cable, and an S-Video cable, I would be willing to sacrifice the S-Video cable. The reason I need to do this is because I have a 2 24" monitors that I use when playing video games. When I'm playing just to play, I use the monitor on the right through the VGA cable, when I'm playing to record through my HD capture card (component HD input), I have the component cable hooked up, which goes into the capture card, then the output, which is component, is wired into a VGA adapter that I made which goes into the left monitor. There are problems with this, the main and most annoying one is that I have to switch the cables everytime I want to either play, or record. The next problem is that since component is YPbPr (yellow, blue difference, red difference), and VGA is RGB (red, green, blue), the picture comes out all green on the left monitor. I need to be able to just have one cable plugged in and either play or record depending on something, I don't know, a switch that I would flip or something. It'd be a lot easier than what I'm doing now.

That would work, sure, but I'd rather have it as a cable that can either simultaneously output VGA and Component, or have a switch between the two of them. I only need those 2, so anything else is superfluous. My main problem is that the picture I preview when I'm recording with my capture card is green, I don't like playing that way because it's hard to tell what color something is. Is there a simple fix to correct the green picture problem? Starting with that would make me happy, but ultimately I would like to have the dual output cable.
__________________I actually first thought of this while I was at youth group with a friend. I thought of making a selector box (much like the A/V switches you see to switch between say a DVD player and a cable box), wherI would output from the xbox 360 and into this box, then have 2 plugs where I would plug in the VGA cable and the Component cable, then I'd just press a button to select which one I wanted. That'd be the simplest way of doing i, but I'd have to sacrifice a connector cable, and figure out which wires I'd need, then mold a port that would fit the Xbox 360 connector. Eh, why does it have to be this hard?!?! Lets go back to basics. Is there any way to correct the green picture problem?
