Cool stuff though, but I'm sure its expensive. Plus, wheres the fun in "modding" a 360 if you arn't gonna do it yourself?

Llamma.com is the best by far. They've got tons of stuff for Xbox 360's.

If any of you need support on any of their products, and it relates to installing/using the stuff, hit up the forums.. You'll probably catch me there or one of the other forum staff. But if the product is damaged? Esh, hit llamma up via their support email.

Anyway, yeah, Llamma's great if you're wanting to get started with Xbox or Xbox 360 mods. I was amazed by the quality of their tutorials (most tutorials have great pictures) and it was pretty easy to get my foot in the door (so to speak) with console mods. Originally I went there because I wanted to replace my broken Xbox DVD drive with a working one, and seeing the LED and cathode work sucked me in. Stayed as a normal member for about a year (and modded my second xbox) before I joined their forum staff.. Great place to learn, but these days the forums aren't thriving so much. They've been hacked and taken offline twice, but there's still a nice collection of tutorials on the main site, as well as in the tuts section of the forums.

There's the Xbox I mentioned of mine. Since then I picked up 4 more of them, and soon to be 2 360's.. Like overclocking, it's a fun hobby... but it's also an expensive one at times. :P

And yes, they -can- be trusted. Ask anyone who's been involved with the Xbox modding community. For the record XCM is made by Team Xtender (they make the best and only keyboard/mouse adapter for the 360 as well as the highest quality aftermarket case replacements). Talismoon is new to the scene though. They first surfaced with their replacement fans-- custom molded to fit the case the same way as the originals do, yet quieter and move more air (louder if you 12v mod the fans though..). As far as llamma goes-- make your own opinion on the matter. I'm obviously a bit biased, but they still were the first to make a public display of a case modded Xbox 360, and have made two custom 360s and a lunchbox (yes, those things you put sandwiches in) for Rockstar Games. Take a look at their Xbox 360 page and scroll through the news entries. High quality stuff.
