Default My Xbox 360 is breaking my games!! help!

hi, i think my xbox 360 is breaking my games... it has done it plenty of times in the past and is still doing it, it scratches my games..
why is this?
could it be where im keeping it? its in the bottom drawer, its happened on two different xbox's too.. HELP!!

If it is laying flat while turned on and you stand it up, it will scratch the disc. It did it to me when I was moving my Xbox between rooms. But, it was only a scratch and the disc still works.

If all else fails, call in for RMA.

i dont move it while its on or theirs a disc in, i found out that the bottom of the drawer it was on, wasnt straight... couldve been it, i moved the xbox now

this is a common problem for xbox's particularly slightly older ones, has been and is a known issue by microsoft and they did acknowledge it for sometime and were in fact sending replacement games to customers for the cost of postage, the Wii also had this issue and were doing the same return disc and would replace it for the cost of P&P, they both have since stopped replacing games since they have stated the issue has been addressed with the console scratching a groove in one particular section of the disc

Also happens when it's not really level and on a slant!
You gotta keep it level so it doesn't keep doing it to your games, I had this problem before I had my entertainment center and just had it on a shelf that wasn't level...
