Should I buy the $23.00 whisper fans that seem so popular. (is it worth the price?)

Somename,
__________________It'd be difficult to find a 40mm fan that costs $23, I think -- which is the size of the fan in the Newegg link. What is the fan for, CPU or VGA or Case cooling, or something else? If you want both quiet and great cooling, spending a little more $ always helps but isn't always necessary -- depends on the size and the application you have in mind. -W

I am replacing the fans in the xbox 360. Alot of people seem to like the whisper fan but I am asking if those small 40mm would be better or just ask good.

Generally, the larger the fan, the quieter it is because the bigger the fan, the less RPMs required for cooling the parts. So I'd go with a decent sized fan that you can fit in there, and still not be too loud.
My 120mm fans are barely audible... But then again, I've got my 9800GT fan on 100% all the time
