Post Should I give in and buy MW2 Prestige?!

ahhh im stuck in a rut! Not sure if i should spend £120 of my hard earned money on the prestige pck and get those ultra cool night vision goggles, or if i should just buy the normal pack for £35...?

what does everyone else think? Do you think the goggles will go up in value?

imo just buy the normal version, the goggles are a gimmick and for £90 you could get some other good games or w/e.

No the goggles won't, once everybody finds out how crappy they are nobody will really want them. Definitely not worth the money imho. For that money you could by 3 more games on release...do you think you would get more enjoyment out of 3 more games or 1 pair of crappy nv goggles?

Are they going for more on ebay than at retail? I didn't figure they would, and they certainly won't down the line, if you look at stuff like this everybody willing to buy the special uber editions will buy them at launch, demand goes down quite a bit after launch for things like this. If you look at the Halo 3 with the pack in helmet it was $130 at launch, which was more than twice the cost of the regular edition. It is now selling for just $40 used on Amazon which is only about $15 more than the regular edition.

yeah i pre ordered a prestige edition from hmv and just put that on ebay, so it will sell before its released then i will post on release day. I reckon im just gonna get the normal edition, unless im completely taken away by the prestige edition when it arrives...
