Anyone have anything to say about painting a controller and a case? I'm really into this idea of painting my controller and if I like it enough I would like to paint my console.
I've found a few decent controller painting guides, but case ones are harder to come by.

if you use plastidip it works awesome and it adds a rubbery texture. :-) it is quite nice.

Here is some painting I did with my case and my controls. This was all done with camo paint but you can do it with any kind of quality spray paint. Just do quick shots across the target paint area and dont get in a hurry. About 5 mins. between coats at low humidity.

For the controller make sure you choose a paint that will harden accordingly. If the paint stays at all tacky your hands will feel like they stick to it. I'd recommend Krylon Fusion for plastics, in a flat color. Would have a nice surface for a controller.

Here's my XBox 360 case and controller painting:
http://www.overclock.net/xbox/499048...one-ready.html You'll need a special tool to take apart wireless controllers; it's a Torx screwdriver with a security stud. Other than that, it's very straight forward.
