Well, My xbox, which I brought back from the RROD, and haven't used in over a year was on the docket to go on craigslist today. Last I played it was for about 30 mins one day for some forza 2. So, In order to get the disc out of it I fire it up up and lo and behold its RROD again! Eff you Microsuck, not only do systems fail when you use them, but they fail when they are just sitting around on a shelf for a year. Good Riddance.



I am going to try to take this apart to fix it yet again, but I can't even rightfully sell this thing, its just going to fail again. guess I will just have to sell my games and accessories seperately and take the loss.

That's unfortunate.

Why don't you just get it repaired? (Craigslist, game shops)

Also, you can sell red-ringed 360's for quite a bit, because people know how to fix them.

I know how to repair them too unfortunatly, its just that the thing is just going to keep breaking. Id like to get a good amount for it, since I have a few Pro Audio things I am buying to update my studio, but selling it as working and then having it rrod is gonna cause headaches, and selling it as rrod is gonna make it worth less. sigh!

Did you try sending it in before when you "fixed" it? They have a three year warranty for RROD.

I called MS 6 times, each time was told a box with a shipping label would be sent to my door, never showed up, and 2 of the times i called I was told I would get an email with prepaid shipping in it, never showed. Gave up on that route.

Verified address each time and such, Got tired of talking to the indian people for an hour and a half each time i tried to get it taken care of.
