Recently, with me getting back into the XBOX, which I do all love. It seems its constantly filled with 13yr old kids who's certain balls havn't dropped and I all hear is "OMG NO WAYZ MANS U 1337" or " OMG U USE A FAMAS YOU SUCK BRO GE GOOD"

COD4, is even worse.... Someone get a triple, and all the 13yr old kids form a Army and YELL OMG HOLY CRAP NICE SHOT for about 20mins....

I can never find a room with Adults/Mature people. And this is across the board..

Halo 3.. well of course

Rainbow Six Vegas 2, a somewhat hard game to master, full of kids.. and I can never use my FAMAS because they restrict it and cry.. I was on MLG, and FAMAS and MP7 where the guns, until UBI fixed the MP7.

COD4, don't even get me started.

BF1943, well be honest, I don't hear much of them.

How do you guys avoid little kids or such? If I take off the headset, and I get yelled at in RB6 because they want "team-work". Maybe I should just restrict my self and only play with OCN peeps.

Anyways, back to the bathroom, bad nite drinking and xbox.

this is why I only play games with voice communication through PC. Allows you to mute players you don't want to hear, or completely shut off in game voice altogether. I use Ventrilo to communicate with teammates rather than in game chat. Sorry to hear your issues^

I mean I can mute on XBOX, and lets not turn this into X360 vs PC war please. I was a gamer on both and made my own choice to switch. Mute is just a pain in any other game besides CoD4, and I feel like XBL needs a age limit..

well do you play with friends on the 360? I just create a party so i dont have to hear other people i dont know or the little kids

I also have noticed that the higher prestige level in COD4 i am, the less immature people we play against so maybe it goes to show that being level 6th prestige and playing with other 10th prestige people eliminates the children yelling. lol

Well the sad reality is that its been like this for a long time. I haven't seen statistics but my guess is that the majority of online gamers (esp FPS games) are going to be 11-15 year olds for the most part... slowly tapering off beyond that age. They have the most free time on their hands, are often restricted to the house during certain hours of the day, don't have the means (transportation and money) to go elsewhere to do other things etc. Not to say I don't know a lot of 50+ year olds who play games, but they are the minority for sure. It's frustrating for sure and I remember dealing with it in games back in the late 90's. You just have to deal with it... or look for games that at least somewhat cater to an older crowd (IE NOT FPS).

Wow, when i played cod4 I did not ran into some annoying kids but nothing like that. It was usually 1 kid when it did happen which it wasn't a lot. A good mute made them go away.l
