Default How do I reset configuration on xbox???!

Hi, my xbox is strangely lagging up on the command menu's, very poor and slow response.

Xbox live is laggy as crap, my bandwidth tests on any pc (when ONLY that one pc is on and directly connected to modem AND tested also with router wired AND wireless) are all green in the go with 15+mbps down and 1+mbps up.

I am frequently getting from any lan and wireless pc/laptop getting the warning with windows media center ON network tuner for the xbox itself screen with POOR network performance, yet all my machines easily use at most 3-5% of their bandwidth when running nothing or max cpu.

Can anyone help me? The xbox live support and xbox 360 support centers are to dang confusing and I can't seem to get the right wording or anything to work...

Please help, i'm desperate! Been trying this for the past 3 days!

Hd is the 20gb, with 2.4gb free, i'll free up some space on it right now, but still haven't had that much issues and had only .5gb free with even less issues.

Is there any way to "defrag" it?

- Le_Loup

- Update - Went into it, and cleared up, now 4.7gb free of 20gb. Any more suggestions? Ty for idea's, still trying.

I have the same HDD as you, and basically 2.0GB free, but it could be needing defragging.

  • Xbox Dashboard
  • My Xbox tab
  • System Settings (furthest to the right)
  • Initial Setup
This should hopefully allow you to restore to factory setup, not too sure.
