Default Connecting Xbox 360 (Yes I Searched)
Can I hook up my xbox 360 to my monitor using the following combination? I want to plug the HDMI end of the converter into my xbxo 360 60gb pro's hdmi(it has one right?) and I want to plug the RCA cables from my xbox into the converter and the converter into my speakers. Will this work?

Seems a little overcomplicated to me.

I don't have an Xbox 360 so I don't know what kind of plugs are on the back, but I do have a TiVo which is hooked up to my TV via HDMI and speakers through an optical jack. No adapters were necessary.

I got an adapter once to do this with my wi and it was a one way conversion for the video and I needed it to convert the other way :-(

I have that exact setup right now, works great. You will just need to break the plastic off the xbox end of the rca plugs so the hdmi can fit.

I have the xbox without hdmi. I just went to bestbuy and got the VGA cable that has a VGA output and RCA audio outputs.
