Not really. If they were spending more they wouldn't be pirating. Many hang onto a banned console to play any game for single player. There are also those that buy modded and banned consoles. Its a big mess but there is also a retail disk release from a known group, not just the fake release. Only the dumb pirates got banned, a smart person would check the image on another site (not posting due to not supporting pirates) to verify it.

Funny part is, I'm watching a JTV stream, and over 12,000 people are playing MW2 right now. MS would be a very dumb idea to ban 12k people, sure they pirated the game or got it leaked early at some stores, but 12k people? That's a lot of money lost.

To not get my self banned from OCN, from what I read / know from friends. It got REALLY easy to mod a 360 now. Latest way is simple as put in dvd of a modded frimware .iso, and ur 360 is modded and then d/l a game. Still to risky for me, a $400 console.. no thanks

I never heard of this. Interesting. I didn't realize you could flash a dvd drive bios from a actual DVD.

@ 60\person (one year subscription), it's not even a million dollars. Not worth it for them.
