Or you can just ask the employee to see the box then look at the amps on the console in the serial-number slot.

But, all of the consoles are Jasper's now unless you buy a refurbished/used one.

to be perfectly honest thread starter, all xbox 360 arcades built with hdmi connection included have been updated, and that happened ages ago, so any new 30 should be good to go.

I have had a premium 360 until 2005 when i sold it, and then a hdmi arcade since 2007/8, and never once had rrod.

MS will only fix them out of warranty while it is still under warranty, mine broke a month after the warranty, had to pay $120 for MS to fix it.

Gotta say, I was going for more of a "Black Friday", "People getting trampled because stuffs on sale" thing, more than not knowing which console is which.

People get evil when there's only one of something they want, and you're about to grab it.

If any console rrod's be it a 2005 one or a brand new 2009 one, MS will fix it, you just have to pay postage my understanding is.

RRoD is covered under 3 years.

If your super worried about it, get this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...XQXGM7WH6TT4WQ

You can get them for $20 at Walmart. Make sure you get the one with the external power supply. I can tell a noticeable difference by feeling the outside of my 360. Before it would get pretty hot, now it just get's warm.

It is loud though, but I play so loud I can't hear it anyways.

Yes, make sure it's the Intercooler TS, and not the original.
