Eventually they will over saturate the market with "hero" games and people will soon stop buying them.
The unfortunate part is that the concept is solid for gameplay mechanics, just over saturating something is the same thing as playing a cool song over and over again. Sure, it sounds good the first 50 times, but after that... not so much. Or at least not as much for a long period of time.
