Well my friend gave me his broken xbox 360, my GF wants one bad so im going to paint it then do the washer mod to get the rrod to go away and it should last her the 4 months or so till she moves in with me.

I already disassembled it here are some paint pictures from today

First coat of flat black paint. Ill go back and even it out. also it isnt dry yet completely The top pieces are going to be purple and so will the front face plate! her favorite colors!

For some reason that black with the white blending in looks kinda nice actually. Maybe its just me.

Looks good though. Looks better than someone else around here I know that painted mine but turned out like a 6 year old did it.

update: 11/16

Well MW2 has been sucking my attention, but i did get it fixed! sent the tray to my dads shop to get some 1/2" holes drilled through it to fit the bolt heads.

and i ended up getting a awesome deal on a arcade xbox so my gf got that and this one im gonna look to sell! for decently cheap of course!
