My copy came in the mail yesterday and I'm loving it so far. I've only played through Act 1 for SP but so far the game is pretty intense, just like MW1. I'm also loving MP, but one thing I'm not liking is it seems everyone camps. How do people even have fun playing the game when they just sit in the same spot the whole match? IT BOGGLES MY MIND! If I wanted to play with/against campers I'd go into HC TDM.
But other than that, the game is pretty awesome and I highly recommend everyone pick it up if you haven't already.

It is an expansion/sequel to COD4: Modern Warfare, but they will infact be making a sequel to MW2 in the next two years as Infinityward does not team up with COD consecutively, so appearantly the next COD game will be a sequel to WaW, and after that will be MW3, whatever they plan on naming it.

IMO, the game lived up to its prequel, but I find I am not as addicted to the multiplayer as much as I was in COD4. I guess its maturity, or the fact that MW2 isnt the first of its kind if you know what I mean. The single player although is much better, along with the graphics... really loving them.

MW2 is a game using the same engine as the first one, all they did was add a short multiplayer campain and add more guns and maps to the multiplayer. Not to mention all they removed.

The single player is 4 and a half hours long, Crysis Warhead was an expantion and its single player was twice as long.

Get your specs right... they used a new game engine (not very different but new) and the single player campaign is 6 hours long. Now days games and gaming systems are more multiplayer based, so I understand why more of the focus is on the multiplayer... its the more popular part of the game anyways. I'm pretty sure many people would get pretty bored playing against computers with low accuracy shooting, who take 2-3 shots to kill on Veteran difficulty.

There is a reason it was the best selling game for the Xbox and PS3.
