Samsung B die

The problem with the internet today is the lack of accountability.

On pc forums User A says no its safe costs users B,C an D $600 to find out he was wrong. User A gets off scot free.

On the race car forums it is no different except $ amount. User A says turn the boost up to 26lbs. User B,C and D lifted a head gasket, cracked a piston ring, melted a piston...or worse just sent a rod through block due to detonation. $3k in damages. User A gets off scot free.

Avoid the A's they will put a hole in your wallet.

Gskill Tridentz 3200 14-14-14-34 kits should all be great picks since the all b-die, I know mine works great at rated speeds on asus x370 pro and 1700.
They might be a bit more than other kits, but you get what ya pay for.
I only got the 2x8gb kit so I cant say if other kits work as good.

Yep. The G.Skill 3200C14 2x8GB kits, as well as the 3600C16 2x8GB kits (what I have) should work well and be usable at or near their top speeds on a Ryzen system.

My kit is running at 3219 (100.6MHz BCLK and DDR4-3200 setting) 14-14-14-14-34-2T at 1.351v on the Crosshair VI Hero board with 0902 BIOS. I haven't had a chance to use the new (given to us this morning in the Crosshair VI overclocking thread) 0038 or 1001 BIOSes yet. I'll be testing those tonight after work.

I'm runing corsair dominator platinum on 1800x on asus prime x370 pro. I got it to 2666mhz at 1.250V with 16-16-16-16-38. Anyone know how I can get it to 2933mhz?

DRAM Voltage: 1.35v
DRAM Boot: 1.35v
SOC: 1.15v

If those don't work try increased DRAM Voltage and DRAM Boot, maybe up to 1.4v. I'm assuming the Prime has DRAM Boot -- it might not.

Note: You might not be able to get higher speeds at this time. You might have to wait for future BIOS versions. AMD is releasing a big update to board manufacturers for speed and stability/compatibility in May.

I am running into the same problem with the same ram. I have tried adjusting voltages and timings but 2666 at 3.5 volts is as good as it gets. XMP is useless on the Dominator Platinum at this time. I would suggest to anyone looking into a build to consult the QVL from the motherboard manufacturer before buying memory. I have the gskill 2 x 8 3600 coming in today as it IS on the QVL for my board. From what I have read the ryzen likes samsung single-sided memory. RGB memory seems to be an issue with some boards as well.

So, what sort of 24/7 memory OCs are typical with four double-sided DIMMs at this point?

With the stuff I'll be doing on my Ryzen setup 32GiB isn't going to cut it and I'd like to know how much the DF clock will be held back by four 16GiB DIMMs.

Well im testing a rather expensive set of pc 3400 32gb 16-16-16 b die now.

1T CR ?

pc3200 ?

So far can only boot 2666.
