Ryzen 5 2600x B350 tomahawk Overclock issue

Hello
I managed to hit stable 4.1Ghz OC on this cpu at anything between 1.35-1.39V but games kept crashing at 1.35v so i decided to stick with 1.393v in ryzen master app(didnt do the Bios OC since i only want to oc while playing games)

Is it an ok OC? and is the voltage too high?

Also,i have a 2x8gb Patriot viper 3200MHZ CL16 which currently runs at 3200 mhz at 1.344v (Bios OC)
Can i OC this pair on anything higher without risking system stability? and even more, does it bring any noticeable difference in fps in games to even bother to do it?

It's okay.

4.2 - 4.3 GHz seems to be the max people are getting on ambient.

From the reviews I've seen there is no real benefit from overclocking the X variants. They do it very well all on their own.

XFR2 will work on 300 series boards. PB2 won't

Hi there. Do you mind to tell me how did you get the 3200Mhz with this memory? I've bought the same kit, don't have the rest of the setup yet, but I heard a lot a of complains to reach the 3200 MHz on Ryzen platforms.

My idea is to complete the setup with a 2600X CPU and a X470 F Strix Mobo, or a Taichi simple version.

Thanks in advance.

With RMU v1.4, if you have update the bios since installation, a reinstall of RMU is in order, otherwise it won't communicate well with the bios.
Also, be sure to enable high perf power plan in windows.
