4 sticks, you can run some decent OC for RAM. I ran 3400 I believe on my 2990WX. With 8 sticks, can't get stable over 2933.

I did not buy the MEG with the view of getting Zen 2 so I am not hugely annoyed, HOWEVER...It is a little annoying due to the fact the board can support it. I know the BIOS chip size came into question, but surely they can have another BIOS that drops microcodes of other CPU's in order to accommodate the Zen 2 ones ? Namely the threadrippers, as lets face it, that is what the MEG is built for.

The man made himself popular by submitting to the public knowingly false information. This fake.

About MEG bios:

At the moment, all the forces are thrown on the search for errors in the new microcode I, unfortunately, do not have time to follow all the threads. Today, during the day, I will try to talk about real changes, if any.
