2700x on gigabyte x470 ultra gaming

I am new to both ryzen (or amd) cpus and also to any kind of bios settings. I never ever entered a bios prior to now, so treat me accordingly... 😀

I own a gigabyte aorus x470 ultra gaming. Ryzen 2700x is cooled by a dark rock pro 4. Ram is 2x 8gb 3000mhz corsair vengeance lpx. Gtx 1070 gainward phoenix gs. Nvme adata sx8200 1tb ssd. 750w corsair rm750x. Fractal design define r5 with 2 intake and 1 exhaust stock fans.

So question is what are best bios settings to run the 2700x at its best WITHOUT actually manual overclocking it? By best settings I understand a balanced safe/performance settings.

I refer to xfr and pbo and these sort of AMD magic (as reffered to on most web articles).

Thank you!

The best BIOS settings are to turn on PBO and undervolt it manually with offset (especially due to the PWM controller Gigabyte used on that board) as there is no load line calibration or fixed voltage AFAIK. Unfortunately, that's probably not the answer you wanted to hear.

You'll want to go by the SVI2 reading in hwinfo64.

If you're using a NVMe SSD messing with BCLK (base clock) is probably going to be very risky.
