Check the BIOS version first, and if it isn't the latest update it. Features occasionally get added, don't expect too much but it's worth a try.

Case airflow needs to be higher than cooler airflow or you'll be recirculating hot air inside the case.

well I did not like the OC on my FX8350 instead I changed the CPU for a FX9590 and I am much happier with that upgrade.

the Gigabyte GA-990FXA - UD5 (rev.1x) motherboard will support the FX9590, but if you wish to think otherwise you are entitled to do so. it is only a suggestion, as I found it to be a great upgrade for my own build.

here is the compatibility list from gigabyte. mine does not officially support it either, but as long as you can keep the CPU cool, the motherboard will run the CPU. if you overclock the FX8350 the CPU again, must be kept cool, you will have the same issue either way.

officially is not supported
check the link that you sent me and check ud5 and 9530/50 both are with - ( - = N/A)

both on your "defense" 1 guy told me that he tested and it did work but for some reason, the speed was 4400mhz (instead of 4700mhz) maybe because of the power.
this mother doesn't support 220w. but I didn't test it.. I am ok with the 8350

I have the 990fxa UD3 with a 9590. I was running it air cooled with a CM 212 EVO undervolted and turbo off. Now I have a custome water loop. Running it completely open. My only issue is that I can't OC the RAM.
