No more Threadripper ? Removed from AMD release timeline.

I started seeing some alarming articles around the web that AMD is planning to remove TR Zen2 from theirs offering.
Is that really so ?
What do you think are the issues ?

I was hopping to get Zen2 some time next year and a hop from 1950X on X399 board i recently purchased, but reading this information kinda scares me.

Did i went to dead end ? ;-(

Please discuss.

They are not removing the CPU´s themselves they are removing them from the timelines because they are most likely being delayed or pushed back

With 12 and 16 core Zen 2, it's been speculated that Ryzen may be pushing TR off the map (temporarily or permanently). Benches are showing better performance than TR, and AMD may not have anything on that front to compete with itself (or may not want to, if it doesn't have to).

AMD is much smaller company than Intel so with all the Zen 2 AM4 CPU´s the Navi GPU´s and their sever lineup its not a suprise if they are overwhelmed and have pushed new Threadripper CPU´s back to an unknown date

Untill there is word about them all you have are rumors and speculation
