While true, this is how cost creep can happen. An extra $30 for a Windows license is cheap, but then I can get a slightly better processor for an extra $50-75, a better GPU for another $60, a nice case for another $40, and so on and so forth. It's good to account for the little things now to try to prevent this from happening - or to realize that maybe you need to expand the budget to meet the target.

That is very true. When your doing custom water cooling, its happens even more often. Always turns out I need more fittings, etc than I originally planned. Sometimes X case is more headache than its worth so you buy whole new case.

I can't emphasize how important this is. You buy a killer system but end up with a terrible monitor which is often overlooked in terms of how much it affects your gaming experience.

It could be worse. I have an killer system but I rarely game and the machine only does web surfing nowadays. I have found most of my gaming friends from high school days have stopped gaming because we all have other interest, life priorities and goals in life so that reduces your gaming time to almost no time. More or less I'm just building killer performing and looking system as hobby only.

That being said, I still have some games I was interested in playing. One is agent by rockstar north (assume as cancelled game now) and the other is cyberpunk 2077. So pretty much almost done here.

You should fold/BOINC on it during the colder months.

Hard to say. Cars resale value depends on what you get, what car appreciates in value, how you maintain it and bit of luck. Don't forget the initial capital investment and time required is lot more too.

I'm giving up to build a custom loop rig, just because the taxes, duties shippings for my country is very expesnive, the thing itself is also well costly and that solution makes boring noise. Therefore I would like to buid an extremly quiet rig which is classified as ultra high end. Which Ryzen 3000 should I pick for that plan?

1 × AMD Ryzen ? 3??0X
1 × GIGABYTE X570 AORUS XTREME
1 × G.SKILL [Flare X (for AMD)] F4-3200C14Q-32GFX
1 × MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GAMING X TRIO
1 × GIGABYTE AORUS NVMe Gen4 SSD 2TB
1 × be quiet! Silent Base 601 Black
1 × SilverStone NJ600
1 × Noctua NH-U12A
5 × Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM
1 × Noctua NT-H2 3.5g
1 × SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL
1 × Glorious Model O (Matte Black)
1 × Glorious Mouse Bungee (Black)
1 × Glorious 3XL Extended - 24"x48"
1 × Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2
1 × Logitech BRIO
1 × Acer Nitro XV273K
1 × Audeze LCD-GX
1 × Waves Nx Head Tracker
1 × Woo Audio HPS-R
1 × Creative Sound BlasterX G6
2 × Genelec G Three
1 × Genelec F Two (B)
2 × Monoprice 15ft Premier Series XLR Male to XLR Female 16AWG Cable (Gold Plated) [Microphone & Interconnect]
1 × Monoprice S/PDIF (Toslink) Digital Optical Audio Cable, 15ft

For the CPU cooler, look for this . . .

https://noctua.at/en/nh-u12s-se-am4

only comes with just one fan and it's silent cos it is so slow.

For the RAM, try to shoot for 3600MHz CL16 or CL17. This is B-die.

For the motherboard, that Gig has one of the best on board sound and it has DAC.
