Correct me if I'm wrong...but it's more in how you read it - just like GPU reviews...and how AMD and Nvidia read them all differently.

Hi!

thanks for getting back to me

OK, so all makes sense now, regards which temperature you wish to read and as you have acknowledged, most people are using the "Tcl/Tdie" as the CPU temperature because that is the closest to the CPU temperature that is being shown in Ryzen Master.

Your 'maximum' 77.5C Tcl/Tdie temp is generally what I would expect from your cooling/cpu/voltage combination

If you check the screen shot for my cinebench run you will see that in hwinfo64 for my motherboard that the CPU temp is almost the same as the "Tcl/Tdie" temp.

Anyhow, now that we are all on the same hymn sheet continue as scheduled

Is it ok or should I reapply thermal paste/add extra cpu fan?

Definetely something wrong, either with thermal paste application or config. I have the same config but with +1 intake and -1 exhaust, my 3700x doesnt go past 70c while running cinebench all core with PBO active, PC is also quite silent with this fan curve.
Update bios to 0002 + the stilt SMU mod, it could be that you have the fan error issue, or either reapply thermal paste with spread method or big blob as ryzen heats up at the edge of the chip, more die coverage = better

Okay, slight update with my so so manual overclock at 4.325ghz using 1.3vcore for my 3900X. My normal everyday I'll post first which is 4.275ghz at 1.25vcore and it will be what I normally use now with summer starting in South Africa. On the 4.325ghz run, look at the previous best also highlighted, only difference is bios from Agesa 1.0.0.3 AB to ABB..... The Dancing Queen ABBA is not that great for me.

Ouch, what an aggressive overclock. That 1.525v SVI2 voltage can't be healthy for your CPU!
