this is my first post here.
Anyway, I have an AMD A8 9600 APU ( Quite an old cpu) and I tried to overclock the cpu.
I tried AMD overdrive but it said that my either my CPU doesn't support OverDrive or AMD OverDrive doesn't detect any AMD CPU.
I wonder if I made a mistake somewhere, or skipped a step
My 2nd attempt is to do it from the BIOS. The CPU clock ratio was originally 3.1Ghz but I increased it to 3.7Ghz ( and performance boost to 3.9Ghz)
I saved and exit.
Now core temp and cpu-z both indicated that the oc was successful - see https://imgur.com/a/4s6nt6z, but task manager seems to have different "cpu speed" than what Core Temp and CPU-Z indicates. ( Around 3.1Ghz to 3.5Ghz) Task manager also shows that my CPU usage is never full ( a constant 91%) even under stress test ( Prime95 ).
What happened here? Is task manager broken?
