3700X cooled with a H110i 280mm AIO reporting in. 2 runs of Cinebench 20 peak was 79c. 2x140mm pushing air through the rad and 2x140mm intakes and 140mm outlet.

It performs worse over time as the liquid heats up and as the heat builds up inside the case. The heat from the graphicscard gets expelled through the radiator too.
When I pass the 30minute mark in OCCT or AIDA the temperature starts to rise even further when the fans are set to intake rather than exhaust in this particular case.
5 runs in Cinebench R20 and it hit around 69~70c. 5 runs in R15 is around 65~66c.

So I got some Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut today and I was excited to see if that paste would lower my temperatures a bit. But holy crap that paste sucked BIG TIME in my build. I tried 4 times to reapply and test, but the temperatures were much worse than with the thermal paste the corsair H100X and pre applied. The first run with AIDA64 CPU/FPU/Cache stress test results in an stop harware failure error, something I never got the hundreds of times I ran the test. Second time with reapplying the pc shut off during the test. The 3rd time it ran for 20minutes fine but was hitting 95c on the spikes. 4th time I reside it again with less paste, but the temperature rose to 90c immediately upon starting the test, so I stopped it.
I then decided to pull it all apart again and drop the Kryonaut entirely. Instead I found my trusty Gelid GC-Extreme OC thermal paste, and I then applied that onto the cpu. And now the spikes fell to 88c and the average temperature would be around 79c in the same AIDA64 CPU/FPU/Cache stress test. And the test runs stable and fine.
I paid $18 for that crap tube of 5.5gram Kryonaut.

Kryonaut isn't that great. your temps are ok for having a 240 AIO without PBO TBH.

hit a max of 61C with 5 runs on R15 with my custom loop with the same standard set up as you (hitting 4-4.05ghz). 2x360mm rads (fans not at full speed though). You'd only get a couple degrees higher with one rad.

Yea tell me about it. Than darn paste also scratched the copper plate on my AIO. Never using that again.
With some proper thermal paste like the Gelid GC-Extreme the temps are like before with the pre-applied paste on the AIO.
5x runs in a row of Cinebench R15 CPU maxes out at 68°c - hitting 4065MHz.
5x runs in a row of Cinebench R20 CPU maxes out at 69°c - hitting 4065MHz.
