Ryzen Master Utility

From my experiments, I don't think the stress test in this app is very good at informing the end user as to the systems stability.. at least with a manual OC attempt.
I have updated the bios to the latest for my rig in rigbuilder. Installed the latest version available for this app from AMD
and set the time for the stress test to maximum 300 seconds with both cpu & ram.

With the settings I have for my manual OC, it passed the stress test. However upon running Cinebench R20, the system crashes half way through the multi thread cpu test.

Just FYI: It isn't a good stress test whatsoever. You install it for the monitoring / current settings display.

I agree, but why would AMD put it into this app anyway? If stress testing was serious enough, wouldn't they make it tougher in the 1st place or refer end users to 3rd party apps like p95?

QFT

I just use it for monitoring now and then.

I think AMD are just trying to get in on the game with a one-stop-shop application that does it all. But it doesn't.
