I only see the significant low performance of your 2080 in Shadow of the Tomb Raider, but that is not because of the CPU, you CPU is performing fine there and i dont have checked your other results, but if your GPU is making problems in your other tests too...

My chip is done @ 4.25GHz, i could do 4.3 allcore, but with 1.5V+ i guess^^ 24/7 running @ 3.4GHz(0.9V) with 3800CL16 RAM(1.36V)
Cool. Got a 3600 coming and i'd be happy to get all core at 4.2GHz.

The driver and clocks were exactly the same so i don't understand the drop. It means it's the chipset drivers or the terrible agesa.

I got the performance when it was a fresh install with nothing installed. Like i said then i git 545-550 single core score in CpuZ bench. But when everything was setup with all apps installed the performance degraded. On a fresh Windows install the realbench inage editing score was 220k but with everything setup it dropped to 180-190k.
I read that with the R9 3900X, if you set your RAM at 3600 or higher, that its boost gets messed up. Not sure if true for an all-core oc.

Can you please try to down clock your ram, tighten the timing and overclock the FCLK? and a fresh windows is not a bad idea.

The 4770k is a great CPU. Intel CPUs haven't changed a lot from then to now. More cores is the main difference and no games really care about having lots of CPU threads. If you had a good OC with good ram with the 4770k there really shouldn't be much different for gaming.

Until games that use more CPU threads start coming out ryzen vs Intel isn't going to change much other than + or -10% here or there. Other than running an OCed 9900k with a 2080 ti in a low resolution, games are happy with 4-8 threads and decent ram.

Also I second that you shouldn't go over 3600mhz on the ram with ryzen.

16GB DDR4 3200mhz
GeForce 1080 Ti

All core OC on 3900X is not the way to do it as you hamper the good chiplet with what the bad chiplet is limited to.

= Ryzen 7 3700X 4.3GHz @ 1.3v / Thermalright TS140 BW / Prime X470-Pro / 16GB Crucial BSLT 3600 MT/s cl16 / 1080Ti Amp Extreme 2GHz @ 0.987v / Aerocool Project7 P650 / Fractal Define XL =

Stock performance was even worse. Its not like i didn't try to get better performance. I re-ran the benchmarks with stock/oc so many times to get better results. I have a few thing to test out. Older 1.0.0.2 Agesa bios, older chipset drivers, re-install the graphic driver with ddu. Hopefully one will fix the issue.

Went from 6700k to 3900x. I went from 130-160 fps in BFV to 135-210 in BFV with 3900x... while watching 3x livestreams 1080:60 fps on my other monitor. Pretty sick cpu if you ask me. Only thing thats in my head..though im not sure if its actually something real, is the connected feel in BFV. If i look at the framerate its better then 6700k and i get no hickups.. but i question if i get the same connected feel. Probably in my head..but would be nice if somone else have tried this.

I guarantee you can do you can do better voltages by increasing your LLC I though I had a bad chip trying to run 4ghz at 1.2 then I realized my vdroop was getting me to 1.05Vcore... increased LLC to high 1.87 VCore after droop completely stable

Something is off here as the 3900x is besting or at least coming about even with the 9900k in benchmarks and in games.

I personally had a 4790k @ 4.8 and even the Ryzen 1700x @ 4.1 that I replaced it with was an improvement. And the 3900x is way beyond what my meager little 1700x performed at.
