Just saw 3900x in stock!

Was just checking again on retailers for a 3900x, and was surprised to finally see Amazon had them in stock from AMD, not some marked up price 3rd party vendor. Hit buy, and bam should be to my house by the 16th!

More versatile than the current Threadrippers I think, i.e., better single thread plus excellent multi-thread performance. Of course the next gen Threadrippers will no doubt change the landscape again. For me though, the 3900x is just too tempting since I can run it in my existing C6H (currently running a 1700), so no other parts upgrades necessary at the moment to make the jump
