When is 3950X coming?

Any insider leaks?
There is no news after IFA?
Is AMD producing enough of them? 3900X is still out of stocks, the likes of Amazon and Newegg are pre-ordering them at above MSRP! WTH.

Is AMD also releasing TR3 in October? How are they going to get so many full chiplets when 3900X is not in stock 2 months after launch..

AMD is going to be releasing a boost clock fix on Sep. 10th. So the 3950x will probably come on or after the 10th. Some sites are saying before the 10th. But no one really knows.

I think AMD are going to make an announcement about the issue/fix. I don't think they promised to release a fix on that date. Although they might.

Damn son!
AMD probably going to release 100 of them per stores, gone in minutes.

When will news publication get onto the Ryzen HCC shortages story.
It will force AMD to release more info.

3900x is a semi virtual cpu, you can read about it but can’t buy.
3950x will be a pure virtual cpu, nobody will have it. AMD will produce a couple of them just for demo.

If you have a Microcenter in town try them. That's were I got my 3900X about 6 weeks ago. They seem to be the only major retailer that is getting them in consistently. AMD must really like them.

Also they limit it one per person and in store only so you have a fighting chance of actually getting one if you run up there.

3900x has the first bad chiplet with two broken cores, the second chiplet of 3900x is much worse than the first bad one. 3900x is a bottom of binning. So, I am waiting 3950x and hoping that both chiplets will be equal and good quality as 3800x or better level.
