what? Is this true? Then how to recognize those ports, for example on a c7h hero?

Directly to CPU as in it doesnt have to go though a PLX chip to add more ports to the PCI-E bus.
Really the difference is going to be un-noticable in things like mouse/keyboard.

Still, i'd prefer to plug latency sensitive devices into these ports, how does one recognize them? My mtherboard has 8 blue USB 3.0 slots...

if you can't notice a difference by plugging in a "latency sensitive device" and seeing for yourself then does it really matter?

my point was by not knowing which ports are which you'd basically have a double blind test. if you can't tell a difference between any of the ports then it doesn't matter which is which because it's irrelevant

send an email to Asus and ask, they should know.

I'm going to call BS on this. The latency of going through the PCH or a separate USB controller is probably under 1 microsecond. No human can detect that.

Activating that Windows might be better than knowing jack **** (his own words) and doing a video about it.
