I just don't know how to get more. I don't see a value for it in BIOS. I know the CHVFZ has that feature. But nothing for this board.

Might try radically downclocking the GPU just to test it.

You might try using one 8 pin plug from each of 2 different psu rails to power the gpu.

Would like to see how that rig performs

That was the whole goal. With multi gpu going belly up. And my second Fury sitting idle it made sense to get the 64 as I would see a performance uplift for most of my games. Ill try downclocking my gpu. But I can't shake the feeling I broke SOMETHING in the delid.

My gut is still screaming videocard, even if i try to ignore the not-good experiences among my circle of friends. Since you have a Fury in spares, i guess at this point i would suggest the thing i said about my friend and have negative powerlimit set on the Vega card, like -25% or more even, and if that crashes, put the spare GPU in, just to be hyper sure its related to the delid, since this isn't even a major CPU load, you are crashing a graphics test :X.

My luck usually has the CPU cause some sort of BSOD, while a GPU related crash is almost always black screen or hard-lock/looped audio etc, unless the power delivery to the CPU has some oddities going on (my mobo tripping OCP if it isnt using max current limit of 180% as example...).

EDIT: remembered i actually have a 990fx Saber at home, i think it had VDD PCI-E volts at the bottom of OC menu, though i usually didn't need to touch it. I guess if you wanna play with volts you can add a little bit there and maybe try like 2.6v CPU VDDA?

Well it just switched itself off mid CPU stress test at stock clocks. Like just completely switched off.

Well then, that happened while editing last post of mine... ... now i am stumped properly, i never managed to get my FX-9590 to completely switch off like that, only my 4930k does a switch-off if i set current limit to 130% at stock clocks. (admittedly, both of these have noticeably different stock current limits <_<) You used to pass CPU tests just fine earlier and the delid looks flawless. HMM.
