Ryzen 3950x wont be available any time soon and it will be over priced!

No site shows the 3950x except for siliconlottery.com and it shows the 3950x says est Dec 1st ..... That is a estimate so add a couple days to that then the delivery.. The average Joe will get in December mid to late. Also watch out for price wars. I know there is no way their going to sell it for 750 bucks. More like 850 bucks or so. If I see the 10980XE get released tomorrow and I can order it then Im gonna say fak the AMD and go with Intel. The only thing is the power consumption. The 3950x is amazing in that but 9980XE is like 400ish watts. But since I don't render the CPU wont be pegged at 100 percent. I game and run DAW.... I will never use all 36 threads and 18 cores. I just want to have the freedom to add as many real time synths as I want be it 30 or 100 ........ with 40 plugins or more added. Doing this will barely use 8 cores.... maybe 10 cores I dont know... but I will have soo many free cores just parked. I want to be future proof or else I would just get the 9900k. Eventually 8 cores is not enough, especially as game devs start using multi cores and you want to stream games or record video and what not. The 8 core might choke but not any time soon.

The 3950x has 2 things on Intel

power consumption is much less and it has PCIe 4.0 which does nothing in the real world. Game maps will load the same time, Ive done research on this btw. Also same thing video cards like 5700XT 3.0 or 4.0 that it is, there is pretty much no difference. I also think the 3080Ti wont care if you have PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 ....That is my opinion what do you guys think of all this ? Thanks for reading.

I think 3950x will be sitting on the shelves everywhere. It’s too pricey with questionable quality meaning that only the first CCD is binned the second one is about 3700x level. I am personally decided to wait Zen3 and bought 3800x for $330 after I have read almost all top reviewers about 3950x. My conclusion was that 3950x will be a very short leaving product like Radeon7.

Well, assuming these are available to purchase then. They might not be available to purchase until later in the morning.

Oh, come on Grin, you know you want one. But seriously, I think this processor is going to fly off the shelves. I watched many of the reviews and they were saying that these were binned chips and able to run at lower voltage than your typical 3900x. That's why I want one.
