so we can conclude that those prices doesn't paid.
if a forum like this have no owners means that it is a big fail.

stocks is full everywhere here in europe but people simply don't buy it, prices are mad.

glad that "this policy" is not paying.

No, it's not neccesarily a failure.
A forum "Like This" is comprised mainly of enthusiasts, nothing wrong with that at all but with the new TR's being a server type chip for a desktop not many would get one because of the expense to build a complete setup based on it, esp this time of year with all else going on with Christmas stuff to pay for and bills that tend to slam you (Like property taxes are billed here as an example, due at year's end where I am) - Just how it is.

And I don't believe these simply being "Out of stock" equals failure either - If they haven't been listed, that's one thing but normally if something is out of stock that means "Sold Out", not staying on a shelf collecting dust.
AMD themselves can't help how any particular vendor lists these, only to make the chips.

Took this screenie just today after checking things with them.

Can't find memory fitting them. G.Skill is late with their TR kits for example. Not many to choose from I guess.
CPUs are great - top performance, true HEDT, but need quite some money to assemble a full workstation, since it's the price range of Intel HEDT 14-18-core of the last year.

TR is a niche market. So there will be less people with those CPU's on the site. I am also willing to bet there are people here who have the new TR CPU's but just have not gone wild about sharing that fact or did not want to start a thread. A lack of thread does not constitute a product failure by any stretch of the imagination. Prices for the platform are a little more expensive...but again, they are not an enthusiast level CPU. They are for workloads and servers, so the price is in line with what the product is. You really need to stop hating on this product, I have seen many a post from yourself being doom and gloom with no basis for it, this thread is another prime example. I get your annoyed that it is too expensive and did not work out for you...but again that does not constitute a product failure, so I think you need to let it go bud.

Hi,

I just order a MSI Creator TR40 + 3970X to replace my MSI Creator X399 and 2990wx ))))))
My custom loop is compatible. Maybe just need to change the water block for the VRM since the board's are different in that part. Will post pictures and overclock results as soon as I have the monster at home. The board is already in stock on the shop and put aside for me. Just waiting for the CPU that is on the way. Just for the board and the CPU I spent 3000 euros. It is indeed expensive upgrade. The rest from the 2990wx will use it.

Price increase in CPU and motherboard pretty much killed all interest. 1950x and 2950x's upgrade path in terms of price is a freaking 3950x and AM4.
