3950x In Stock on Newegg in US

This is a PSA. I just got mine yesterday, but the 3950x just came back into stock less then 3 minutes ago on Newegg.com. Get yours while you can. (At a $150 Price Hike)

https://www.newegg.com/amd-ryzen-9-3...-616-_-Product

Spoiler!

EDIT: PS, This link I provided will bring you directly to the 3950x that is Sold and Shipped by Newegg, but ONLY when Newegg has it in stock. When Newegg Sells out, they will put the cheapest 3rd Party Seller of the chip in its place. This means that if you click this link, after Newegg has sold out, it will show a 3rd Party Seller REALLY trying to Rip people off, selling the 3950x at just under $1300. DO NOT BUY this chip if that is the case. Just wait until tomorrow. I am not sure if it will be back in stock tomorrow or not, but on Monday they will probably stock a limited amount, and if they do, I will post again, probably right around the same time, so just be ready, and make sure you do not buy the chip from a 3rd Party seller, Newegg is already charging a high enough premium, no need to really bend yourself over more.

Thanks. I really want one but no way I'm paying more than the retail price. Eventually Amazon will get more stock and hopefully not raise the price. I have a $160 credit that I've been holding on to just for the processor.

Completely Understand. I am not too happy about Newegg charging a price hike either, so the way I look at it, they want to bend me over, I won't feel bad about doing the same. All I am going to say is Holiday Return Policy is in effect, and the Proccesor will likely be in stock at its normal price before the Return Window Closes...

I don't blame you at all man. It's rediculous that these retailers are taking advantage of the situation and price gouging. Amazon might even do it too. They haven't yet and hopefully won't before I get one from them. It seems like Best Buy is the only retailer that never charges more than retail no matter what. I really respect them for that.

Yeah I have noticed that. They do overcharge for things like Graphics cards vs Other Retailers, but its always, usually anyway (excluding the Dark Mining Times), within reason. And with CPU's in Particular, they seem to stick to the Suggested Retail price, which is as you say, really respectable. I wish they would have gotten their stock in before Newegg Yesterday, I would have gotten one there in stead.

Surprisingly the 3950x still hasn't sold out. Its been on Newegg for about 30 mins now.

I'm set up to get a text sent to my phone from nowinstock for Best Buy and Amazon for the 3950x. I got notice the other day that Best Buy got some in. They lasted about 10 minutes before selling out. I thought about grabbing one from them but decided to hold off since I have that credit with Amazon. It is frustrating waiting for stock though.

The more of these threads I see, the more I realize how lucky I am for being able to get one at Micro Center on launch day at retail price.

And yet it's still sitting idle for 23 hours/day - stock settings. I haven't yet had the time to play with it and I'm still waiting for the memory that I want.

Oh How I envy you good sir! Thankfully mine is on the way, and I fully intend on getting my $150 back that Newegg overcharged me, but for now, at least I can finally have my fun!

The Stock Finally just sold out. So it must have been a decent amount of stock this time, it lasted on Newegg for just over an hour. And thats the second day in a row they got more stock, so we may see more come in tomorrow.

I badly wish I had a Micro Center Around me. I have petitioned them several times, Vegas would be a high performing market for them with their only competition being Frys, and Frys has been pathetic for almost an entire year now, so they really should move in and put Frys out of their misery, and give local Enthusiasts a great place to shop. It would be a win win!

Hell yeah man. I didn't think to put in a text notice with Best Buy. But I have one in at both Amazon and Newegg, Newegg just stuck first, and I decided I couldn't pass it up.

I am doing 7 Builds total for Christmas. 1 is for me. 1 is for a Client, and 4 are for Family. The one for me is a Server, and it was getting a 2700x, but now that I got a 3950x incoming, I am going to throw my 3900x into my server, making it even more bad ass for all of the processing it will be doing. Its basically going to be a mini Google Stadia, serving up games to every screen in the house. I already have the backend designed and working great with the Test 3900x, but I am only able to do 2 game streams at a time due to the 1 Graphics card per Virtual System limit. Soon I will have a very special card coming in, where I will be able to divide up GPU Resources between multiple VMs, and I can't wait to see how many 1080p 60FPS Game Streams I can stream once I have that. Anyways, the 3900x is going to do that build nicely.

Then that Free's up the 2700x for my client build, I get to sell him mine instead of ordering a new one, so that works for me.

Then I have 3 Sisters, and my mom, all getting bad ass custom water cooled Modest 2700x Builds from me for Christmas. All Parts are still coming in daily. Its going to be quite the tech Christmas here. Will be posting Pics of the builds once finished somewhere in this forum if anyone is interested.

Anyways, I got a bit off track there, but I think the whole point of that was to say, I am just incredibly happy to have finally gotten the 3950x, as I badly wanted one for my Main Rig since Launch, and I was one of the unlucky *******s who stayed up all night on launch day, only to order one with 30 seconds of them launching on Newegg, Get my order through, think I had one coming, and then get an Email for Newegg about 2 hours later saying that they are sorry but due to website and stock issues, they were cancelling my order. Really sucked! So I am just happy that I will finally have it in my hand in less than a few days!

FYI.... NEWEGG is NOT selling that CPU currently. It is from a 3RD Party Seller who is on Newegg according to the link posted above. Newegg just like Amazon allows 3RD Party Sellers to sell their products on Newegg's website.

It's possible that Newegg was selling it earlier and ran out but the provided link above is to a 3RD party seller selling it for $1297.
