New 12nm Ryzen 5 1600s
Thought it'd be good to make a thread about these. They started popping up a few months ago labeled as YD1600BBAFBOX and appear to be 12nm 2600 dies downclocked. Seem to be on par with a 2600/2600x for the most part, reviews show most people getting 4-4.1ghz, has the slight ipc uplift and improved memory controller of the 2600. You'd think they'd be chips that dont pass binning for the 2600, but mine and others results make it seem that for at least some batches have chips that could easily fall into 2600x bins.
Mine does 4.1ghz @ 1.325v llc 3, and 3466 on the memory (can hit 3533, but needed more tweaking for full stability and I gave up as this is just a living room casual gaming pc). I can do 4.2 @ 1.38v also. Was just hoping to hit 4ghz, but didn't expect 4.1 at such a low voltage, as I figured these were gonna be much lower binned.
