I am in the process of testing undervolts but so far my last failure was at -0.05 on one worker. I'm testing PBO right now without any undervolt just to make sure my CPU is not faulty and no failures so far. Undervolting definitely decreases temps and power requirements but you have to be careful to check stability because too much of an undervolt will cause instability.
Running -0.10000 here and no issues with Prime95.
All PBO related settings disabled.

Might be your ram timings being too tight. Just a guess.

Why undervolt and disable PBO? You lose performance that way. I thought the goal was PBO with undervolt.

For my setup, disabling everything PBO related and just undervolting -0.10000 gives me the best performance. That is, best performance while not overclocking the CPU.
I have tried all possible combinations with PBO, but somehow my machine just likes a bit of undervolting.
Handbrake encode times, CPU-Z benchmark and Blender are my pointers.

For my when running plane stock vcore on Auto CB will give me 9000 to 9050. If I set PBO and up the EDC, PPT etc limits and undervolt by -0.1000 I get between 9500 and 9650 in CB20. Under volt offset helps a lot it seems. If I do not do the off-set my CB20 result is actually lower and temps a little higher.

The biggest problem with initial testings, the reviewers did not fully unclock the PBO motherboard limits!
Which being the PPT, TDC and EDC limits of your motherboard to supply unlimited powah to Ryzen 3000.

Back to the VFT curve, volt, freq and thermals....

dansi, can you write the UEFI settings exactly what should I write (Gigabyte has too many options in different places).

For these categories?
- Advanced CPU Settings
- XFR Enchancement
- AMD Overclocking-> Presision Boost Overdrive
Because setting the voltage to normal and giving a negative offset does nothing.

as mentioned earlier

i do most settings in xfr.
try set the edc to 155. tdc to 125. ppt to 185. scalar to 1x.

the only settings change in amd overclocking is handling the pbo to 'motherboard'. i cant remember the exact settings name.

Off-set -0.075V

R20
5012 ST 505

TDC1000, PPT 1000, EDC 0, PBO scalar 5X(AUTO OC 100mhz)

Man it seems like every month i find a new way to tweak this 3700X out

PBO alone with EDC set to 0 gets 4920 stock is 4826 with my FCLK at 1900mhz

From what i'm reading i might actually have a nice chip from Amd for a change lol most report lower turbo's and scores in ST with even a -0.05V offset even at -0.1V i gained performance BUT lost stability quick

3700X PBO (IF, 1900mhz)16GB G.SKILL TridentZ Series Samsung B-die 3800mhz 14-17-10-32-42
MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X
EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3
Fractal Design R6(All fans replaced with 5 Noctua A14 fans)
H150i(Fans replaced with Noctua NF-A12)

Noctua fanboy detected! Fans all run at 800RPM

Guys check this out i ran this with a positive off-set and now all my cores are hitting higher turbo's.

I'm obviously not going to keep this setting but i guess you can override the FIT table by doing this.

I notice that the core is requesting 1.5V but my chip won't take anything more then 1.47V during boost. This is probably why.
