Ryzen 4000, will you buy the last CPU on DDR4?

As title.
Now that even cell phones are running LPDDR5 will you buy the new Ryzen 4000 processors by knowing that this will be the last CPU on DDR4?

Yep. Used a DDR3 machine until September of last year. But not for gaming. I would still be using it but the SSD SATA drive died and I am too lazy to put it back on line.
But a SSD SATA is a lot cheaper now, so maybe. I also still drive a 16 year old SUV.
As for DDR 5 when I have too, I guess.
I am presently trying to fix a friends P III box and can't get schematics for the power supply.
He still drives a 59 Edsel Ranger as his daily and has another a convertible He bought brand new that he drives in parades and to car shows. (Note he did this before he got married.)
I bet she even says he loves that Ranger Corsair more than me.
He is a retired FoMoCo engineer.
That old Ranger does the same thing my new Trax does for a lot less.
His olde lady is more privileged. She gets a MKC to drive while I watch my old lady drive the Trax.
I bet he gets drivin privileges when her gas gauge says put more in, service soon or needs a bath. At least that is what happens in my house.
I bet she also is like my old lady. All she cares about is using fakebook on a larger screen than the phone.

I have a some what expensive 64gb DDR4 kit. And i would like to get more life out of it. So yeah i will be buying a Ryzen 4000.

Hopefully someone will make a good mATX by then. I wish asrock would make an X570m taichi.

But i can't wait for the 5nm Ryzen 5XXX on AM5 with DDR5 and PCIe 5 with AVX 512. Thats a lot of 5's.

I’ll be very tempted. But I’ll TRY and hold off until there are DDR5 mobo available.

The first wave of DDR5 will be weak, just like with every DDR memory evolution. Also we might again see memory controllers that support DDR4 and 5, just like what happened with DDR3 and 4, and DDR2 and 3. Then when DDR5 latency finally starts to catch up to DDR4, they announce DDR6 will be launching, and here we are again.

Just ordered a 3950X, so no, I don't see myself getting a 4000.
