Manual OC is fine just keep TDC and voltage below the pbo settings(your TDC is higher than stock in OC mode @1.325v). I would guess around 1.25v max in your case. I use [email protected] on my 3600. Also look into CCD overclocking because your 1st CCD can go up to 100mhz+ faster than the 2nd CCD.

Thats a fairly golden 3600 you have there. It takes me the better part of 1.3v (1.325v set, 1.295v under load) to hold 4200 on mine under Prime 95, anything lower and it errors out almost immediately.

EDC is almost 30A higher with that manual OC as well, ~70A peaks become 112A peaks.

HP-UX. I came, I saw, I was sad it would not run on my X86 box.

Hi Mark,
@
I recently purchased an AMD setup similar to yours with the R9 3900x coupled with Asus ROG x570-F gaming. I'm using 4.3mhz @ 1.3v with CPU LLC at Level 2 & SOC LLC at Level 3. I'm getting 74 degrees C under full load on CB R20 that's using a Corsiar H115i AIO. From reading so many reviews I'm still unsure on the best voltage to use and if LLC should be used on my setup currently. Still so much to learn. I too have upgraded from an old system, I had a i7 3820 on the X79 Sabertooth which kept me going for years. Curious what bios settings you're using now after having your setup going for a couple of months now?

Kind regards,

Keith
