Max safe 24/7 temp threadripper 3970x

Curious what the max safe 24/7 temperature I should aim for with this chip? I have it running 24/7 on air noctua, daytime temps avg 80 with occasional peaks at 88, nighttime temps avg 72 with occasional peaks of 80. Pbo enabled with negative voltage offset of -0.06825, LLC level 5 aka medium

I'd like it to last at least around 5 years 24/7

AMD Threadripper 3990x || 256GB G.Skill TridentZ Neo @ 3600mhz 18-22-22-42 || Asus Zenith 2 Extreme Alpha || 2080TI FE || Samsung 960 Pro 1TB || Samsung 970 EVO 4TB || Evga 1200 P2 || Meshify S2 || Custom Loop

Well not sure if it helps but I currently run the 3990x at stock settings at 37c on idle and up to 48c on load but I have had issues getting all cores to work.
I switched from Win 10 pro to Win 10 enterprise but I have had issues with enterprise working right...

I use a custom loop with three 480 radiators in lush pull configuration.

The GPU’s are on their own loop.

What issues are you having? I'm using windows 10 education for my 3990x and all cores and 256gb of ram are working. Maybe i can help

It is hard to explain but on win 10 pro it worked fine but the whole 128 threads being not used properly always bugged me.

So I used my Enterprise N edition from work and it had some features gutted. For example SMB shares where disabled and was more sluggish than Pro.

So then I tried a pirated iso of Enterprise using my volume key and SMB shares worked but it would become unresponsive half the time so I am now going back to Windows 10 Pro.

Interesting, I was under the impression that windows 10 pro should use all 128 threads properly.

If it were me I would put thermal throttling to 70c, I don't know what's 24/7 full load safe though. Maybe that's 90c like AMD says?

edit: either thermal throttling or TDC limiting, whatever gives you the most performance at 70c.

Also if it's actually going to be running 24/7 and you don't care about single threaded performance consider a manual OC. It will use much less power/generate less heat and give you 100's of mhz extra performance.
